Today - I'm a bit lazy...so look around....blew up my T5 and put a Tremec 3550 in the car...went to CD04 and missed a 12 sed pass by a tenth....dynod the car, been workin like a madman ect ect. Picked up another website - JDHaesloop.com and I'm using that for some of my hosting needs :p
13Oct2003 - Check out the updated Projects section. I've needed to put
albums in there for the longest time. Ive got tons of content that regular
visitors can not normally see! Anyways, give it a look and maybe you'll
fall in love with my GF, her horse, or some crazy ported car part :)
10Oct2003 - What a slacker! I haven't posted ANY news in the LONGEST
time!! Well since I posted last I've made 2 trips to the drags. Down at
CD03 I posted up 13.8s @ 103 with some 2.0 60's!. After an intake swap,
a little tune up, 36° total timing locked out, and a crap load of
traction problems I knocked out a 13.6 @ 106 with lousy 2.2x 60's! I havent
bolted up the control arms yet, and next spring I would like to get some
Nitto DRs. Hopefully those mods will hook me up better and I'll be toying
in the high 12s! The Crystal CMPx2 system came out, and I built up an
IDQ box out of crazy fiberglass and stuffed it stealth in the spare tire
well. Eh...enough for now....
23Jun2003 - Well last night we bolted up the Dr. Gas X pipe (offroad),
and the Spintech Sportsman series mufflers infront of a set of 2.5"
Blowmaster Tailpipes. I'm trying to get my damn camcorder to work right
so I can get a decent video. It sounds CRAZY.
07Jun2003 - Damn its been a while! I've been slacking! At any rate,
I've been working on this car basically every weekend! We got new Shadow
Blue Metallic and Brilliant Silver paint on the car, I fixed both door
handles, the driver sider window motor, installed my JL XR525CSI components,
Blew up my 2-12" Adire Audio shivas and bought a 12" Cystal
Mobilesound CMPx2, got my Radiator and water pump installed yesterday,
and I'm thinking about getting under the car today to bolt up my X-pipe
and Spintech mufflers! Lets see, what else. Oh yeah...I did a huge burnout
up my driveway and then proceeded down to the auto shop to get my Supra
712s mounted and balanced. THey are a decent tire, and for 90 bucks a
pop I cant complain! Hmm, I installed some of those white headlight jobbies
and fixed my foglight connection, but I still need to do the GT fog light
fix on this car. I think i'm just dreading taking the interior apart ANOTHER
time in this car....lol.
19Apr2003 - Finally we finished. We tossed the T5 up in the car. Filled
up all the fluids, bolted the last few things together and cleaned up.
18Apr2003 - Got my flywheel resurfaced at napa. Went up to the shop
and started tearing the top of the engine off to get at the valvecovers.
We made a trip down to Elmira to pick up a set of Moroso Tall Chrome covers.
Both of my covers were cracked, so we felt it was the best idea to just
get new ones instead of having a mechanic heliarc them. I stayed late
getting the clutch quadrant, adjuster, and cable installed. I had everything
but the T5 installed.
17Apr2003 - Started the Clutch job. My passenger side valvecover started
leaking oil badly and oil soaked my old clutch. We tore out the driveshaft,
h-pipe, transmission, clutch, and flywheel.
16Apr2003 - Penny helped me toss my box and amps back into the car.
We got them all bolted down and hooked up.
15Apr2003 - Rear brakes, aluminum driveshaft, and new quad shocks were
installed
14Apr2003 - Picked up my insurance card and headed to the DMV. My new
custom plates :"BIG STIK" were ordered. That night we installed
the new front rotors, pads, and I ploped the upper intake back on.
04Apr2003 - My intake came back from Extrude hone, FINALLY. It took
twice as long as they said to get it ported. I should have ordered gasket
matching cause I had to go and hand port the bottoms of the runners with
some air tools and a carbide bit.
25Mar2003 - The Stang project has been on the back burner for the last
month due to weather and parts out to get ported. I went to autozone today
and picked up some Performance Friction Z pads, new stock rotors, new
stock shoes, and a pair of quad shocks for 10 a pop. My intake should
be back within a week!
21Feb2003 - Yah Yah, she went out to Extrude Hone today, will arrive
tuesday for a little port work!
20Feb2003 - I pulled my Upper Cobra Intake tonight, it gets shipped
to Extrude Hone in the morning!!!
19Feb2003 - Maximum Motorsports Spring Isolators and Redline Water Wetter
arrived.
18Feb2003 - Maximum Motorsports Full Length Subframes arrived.
14Feb2003 - Fox Lake GT40 STAGE 3 Intake
Purchased!!
12Feb2003 - 3.90 gears, Clutch cable, Firewal Adjuster, Steeda Quadrant,
Water Pump, Dr. Gas X, Shim Kit, and TracLok rebuild kit arrived. Starting
to have a parts heap!
11Feb2003 - Paint date setup!! Looks like Slim will get new cloths on
the week of March 16th!!
10Feb2003 - Motive 3.90 gears, shim and seal kit, traclok rebuild, aluminum
quadrant, firewall adjuster and adjustable cable purchased.
08Feb2003 - Design Concepts Cobra R SVO Hood
purchased.
07Feb2003 - High Flow Water
Pump purchased.
